Melaleuca Executive Chairman Frank VanderSloot
Frank VanderSloot has led Melaleuca: The Wellness Company since establishing it in September 1985. He served as CEO for 37 years before being appointed Executive Chairman by the company’s Board of Directors. Over that time, he directed Melaleuca’s expansion into a global enterprise generating more than $2 billion in annual revenue. The company now serves hundreds of thousands of households in 20 countries and territories, and VanderSloot has overseen the creation of more than 450 wellness products.
Under his leadership, Melaleuca has earned recognition for its growth and performance from organizations such as Inc. magazine and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. VanderSloot has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, CNN, and USA Today. He has also served for more than two decades as a board member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to founding Melaleuca, VanderSloot held leadership roles at two Fortune 500 companies. He was a Regional Vice President at Automated Data Processing (ADP) and later served as Vice President at Cox Communications.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University. In addition to his role at Melaleuca, he owns one of the largest Angus cattle herds in the United States. He and his wife, Belinda, reside in Idaho Falls and have 14 children.
